Lovely location - a quick walk into the centre of the town. The nearest restaurant was just 1 minute from the hotel. No noise disturbance at night.

We had a fantastic 3 days in barcelona! As it was just a short break, we didn't try to do too much, but found La Rambla offered more than enough entertainment. Just walking around the streets, restaurants, bars and to the pier was such fun with all the street entertainers to watch and 'people watching'. One tip tho - take plenty of money as its a very expensive city!

The location was great for using the Airbus and the Metro. The Hotel location and service is ideal for a short or longer stay.
Top Tip
Do not eat on the Las Ramblas unless you check your bill for added items.
We ate at the La Poma restaurant on the Rambla and they added 2 appertizers to our bill. The waiter tried to explain it as a cover charge. He finally admitted they do it to all of the tourist.

Perfect location, 2 mins walk to Place de Catalyunia and Ramblas. New clean modern interior that could not be faulted. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Top Tip
Best way to see the city is with a day ticket for 20 euros or 26 euros for 2 days. Jump on and off an open top bus that will drop you at all the top sites.

Hotel very central, and in easy reach of Ramblas.
Coffee and tea in rooms not free, beware. Insufficient milk to have both.
Good breakfast
Top Tip
Take the open top bus,but make sure you are near to stairs as when it rains there is not sufficient space down below to accommadate the upper deck.
Excellent restaurant,100yds from hotel, we found this on the last night. La Locanda,Carrer Dr.Joaquim Pou.Restauarnts in the various placas tend to rip you off.

This hotel was FANTASTIC, one of the best we've stayed in. We arrived early at 9.00am, and they let us have a room straight away. Staff very friendly, rooms clean, spacious and modern, although our room didn't have much of a view. Even had a dip in the rooftop pool. Highly recommended.
Top Tip
Parc Guell; Casa Milla; the market on The Ramblas; generally walking around.
Restaurants: Taller de Tapas (there's two of them not far from the hotel); Txapela (pronounced "Chappella" - up the Ramblas, just passed Placa de Cataluyna). Bars: The Fairy Bar near the wax museum - you need to see it to believe it; and Boedas, left of Ramblas, near Placa de Cataluyna, do great mojitas.
