Location very central , just opposite Cathedral where Columbus' had the natives of the Americas, babtised in 1494 after he returned from the New World. Very close (400m.)from the Ramblas, through narrow shopping streets, and also the same distance from Placa De Catalunya, where one can get the Bus Touristic to see the whole city. Hotel very clean, conservative, and ideal for a city break.

Top Tip

When you come out of the hotel , your inclination is to go right because all the movement is that way towards the Ramblas, which is exciting, but as you get your bearings the street on the left will also lead you down to the port and there the bus touristic will also stop , just 50m. from the front door of the hotel. Also the bus touristic costs 20 euro for 1 day but you can buy a 2 day ticket for 26 euro, much better value as you cannot visit everything in one day. There is a restaurant called LES QUINZE NITS in a Square off the Ramblas which is well worth a visit. It opens at 19.50 and you have to queue to enter , but is nice and inexpensive. There are two Irish pubs nearby as you exit the restaurant , not on ramblas.

Hotel is in wonderful location, in easy walking distance of Las Ramblas.

Hotel situated in excellent position. All reception staff speak English and can advise on all aspects of tourist information. Also, luggage was securely stored after check out until transfer to airport, allowing extra time for sightseeing. Will return when next in Barcelona.

good location very central. breakfast very good lots of choice. the only thing was the noise outside there was some sort of building going on. the traffic noise also filter throught the double glazing though we were in the middle of the city so i guess it was expected. friendly and helpfull staff

go on the bus tour e20 and the pleasure tour around the port e5 . very relaxing.looking at the sights as you drive by them. lovely bun shop near the hotel a must after a long day.

Excellent hotel, great location,reasonably priced,very good buffet style breakfast, near city centre and underground, staff at reception very helpful and speak excellent english.

The 'Bus Turistic' is an excellent way to see all the sights, also the underground system is a great way to get around, get a ten trip ticket for €7.20, excellent value.

The hotel is right in the heart of Barcelona, the very best location for all site seeing and was a great business destination for us. The old and new areas are all within walking distance. Great, thank you very much!
