This hotel has a very central location, being only 2 minutes from Grafton Street, & a short walk to Temple Bar. The rooms are average in size, clean, & well facilitated. There are a number of pubs & nightclubs in the vicinity, so this would not be suitable for those who want a peaceful trip.

This hotel is situated on a side road in the centre of Dublin. It is just 2 minutes' walk from the main shopping area and Grafton street.

hotel is in a fantastic location ... in a great location ... many restaurants, coffee bars and typical Irish bars within easy walking distance of the hote... hotel.... Attractions such as Dublin Castle, Leinster House, St. Stephens green were also a stones throw away.... good location for shopping or a good night out in temple bar... Good central location... good location ... good central location ... Close to Grafton Street and surrounded by many pubs and restaurants... very close to main shopping on Grafton Street and all other attractions... Hotel is very central for shopping or site seeing.... Fab location... excellent central location... hotels location and standard were higher than expected....

Fantastic friendly service ... staff were great and really helpful... Staff very friendly and polite ... WAS TOLD MY BOOKING WAS INVALID AS SOMEONE HAD ALREADY BOOKED IN UNDER MY NAME... booked a twin room and when we arrived the hotel were fully booked and could only offer us a double... Excellent hospitality... Prompt service....

The noise from the hotel bar carries into almost every room... Hotel was clean ... nice and clean ... Very noisy at night bring earplugs... Very comfortable beds.... Room was far too hot ... but sometimes a bit noisy... holes in bed linen (blankets),plus cigarette burns.holes in net curtains... very noisy to front and side rooms... quite rooms at rear of hotel. ... a little noisy but with the window shut it was fine.... a little noisy early in the morning with refuse collection and beer deliveries ... there is quite a bit of noise from surrounding night clubs on friday and saturday nights... We asked for room at the back which was fine but I also had to wear ear plugs as disco went on til 3am... But is quite noisy... down side was we we're above the beer patio and the windows aren't double glazed ...

General Hotel Information

This is an attractive, traditional style hotel. The lobby is fairly small, with just a reception desk, a seating area, a lift and a staircase. The medium sized guest rooms are kept in very good condition. They are decorated in warm rich colours and offer guests a range of modern facilities. The hotel is also home to a bistro style restaurant, which is situated on the lower ground floor. It is bright, well lit and offers guests a wide variety of cuisine. This is a nice hotel, offering good comfortable accommodation, coupled with a high standard of service from the friendly hotel staff.

Although the hotel is in a fantastic location and they offer discounts on parking, do not stay here if you hope to get a quiet nights sleep! The noise from the hotel bar carries into almost every room.

The Guiness factory is a must as is the hop on hop off bus tours that go around Dublin

Staff very friendly and polite breakfast was well presented. choice of juices cereals tea coffee and several cooked breakfast on menu also .Coffee and tea making facilities in room which was nice and clean

Top Tip

Great steaks in the adjoing restaurant also very obliging.Must go to the Goal whilst there and Guiness storehouse. Day hopper bus is brilliant we did full tour 1hr. 20mins. to see all then stayed on for visinting sites. Dublin zoo is well worth a visit got the bus to the door in phoenix park. Had a wonderful time and weather was great. Don't recommend food in the Hairy Lemon pub opposite, rip off 3 pieces of meat was the beef casserole!! lol

Bar right across the street (this is the reason for the noise) pizza place open until 4am right across the street also.
