Grafton Capital Hotel

The hotel, as its name suggests, is located just off Grafton Street and close to Dunne Stores. The Temple Bar area is 5 minutes' walk away and Busáras (the central bus station) is approximately 15 minutes on foot. The distance from Dublin Airport is 11 kilometres and the cost of the taxi is 25 Euro. The hotel is in the heart of the shopping district and just a stroll from bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

The hotel houses 57 spacious guestrooms, the majority of which are non smoking. There aren't any family rooms but the hotel can provide interconnecting rooms. 4 guest rooms are partially adapted for people with disabilities. Traditionally decorated and well equipped, all the rooms are maintained in very good condition. They are also double glazed, so guests can enjoy a quiet sleep in spite of the hotel's central location. The bathrooms have bathtubs and showers and are finished with either brown or greyish tiles. Like the bedrooms, they are clean and well maintained.

General Hotel Information

The hotel is tucked away on Lower Stephen Street. In front of the entrance there's a small, attractive square with a statue of a horse rider. The lobby area is small, with a checkerboard floor, a seating area, lifts and stairs leading to the other floors. There is a lively bar & nightclub in the hotel, so not a good choice for those wanting a quiet relaxing retreat. The hotel has been a member of the Capital chain of hotels for the past ten years.
