We understood there would be double glazing, but heard every toot, bump, and passer by on the street below all the time!! Located on a busy street with trams coming past most of day and night. Good location for all the things you'd need to do for a break in Dublin

The food in the restaurant wasn't very nice although the breakfast was fine.
Staff's English wasn't that good so it was hard for them to understand what you wanted.
Hotel hosts private functions on 1st floor so you may encounter a 21st birthday party with loud music til 1.30am as we did.

The location was excellent, central to the bus station, temple bar and the shops. It was slightly out of the hustle and bustle of many hotels in the area The service of the staff was excellent, they had a friendly and calming approach that gave you an excellent start to your day!
Top Tip
Eat in the hotel or dine very early out in temple bar as the restaurants get very busy, very early!
A trip to the local racecourse - lepordstown is a trip very worth making!

great hotel friendly staff but make sure you don't rely on food at hotel in evening as they stop all food at 21.00 which was a shock. Request room on higher floors as these are best. Grafton Street 5 mins walk from hotel is best cultural bars and shops
Top Tip
. Temple Bar area very commercial so avoid if you prefer less rowdy atmosphere. Food Court in Temple bar Saturday morning excellent

This was not our first choice hotel, we originally chose Fleet Street Hotel. However after we booked we were informed that during the dates we'd booked the hotel was going to be refurbished and was offered Wynns hotel. This was annoying because we felt that this should have been realised when we booked. We were told that by way of compensation, because we had booked the hotel for a 50th and 60th birthday, we would get something for the inconvenience e.g. bottle of champagne for the two people with a birthday...this did not happen. However we were very happy with the Wynns hotel.
