Hotel had a restaurant but we did not use it. Breakfast was excellent and room size good. Most enjoyable weekend altogether. About a 20 minute walk to centre of Edingurgh
Top Tip
There are plenty of restaurants and all the sight seeing available.

The hotel, the staff and the food was excellent. The hotel and its staff mirrored the warmth and the welcome of Edinburgh itself and we recommend it highly.

The city is full of beauty and sights to see. The palace and the castle are musts as is the georgian house on Charlotte Sq.The hop on/hop off bus tours are good.La Maison Bleu on Victoria St is a lovely place to eat and do try the haggis, its quite tasty indeed.

Restaurant Deacon's House cafe - tasty and good value for money. Ideal when travelling with children.
To see: Falkirk wheel, Glasgow.
Hop-on hop-off bus service(s) is (are) very convenient.
Nice panorama from Arthur's Seat (hill).

We had a large very clean room
(303). Good value for money.
Staff were friendly and helpful. For us the breakfast was included in the price of room and was ok. But at £6 for porridge, for example, I would look elsewhere for breakfast, if you have room only accomodation.
No more than a 15 Minute walk from 90% of the City's attractions.
Top Tip
Found Edinburgh as expensive as London.
For Lunch try the Last Drop PH at the Grassmarket. Reasonable prices for an Edinburgh touristy Pub.

Bar Italia on Lothian Road was excellent. Easy walk into the city centre, 5 minute walk to Chambers St Museum and Royal Mile. Parking not too far away, but get precise directions, not just 'the next street'.
