A very good 3 star budget hotel located within walking distance to Sauchiehall street. The rooms are of a good size and are clean and comfortable however there is a level of noise coming from the motorway so maybe not the best option for light sleepers. All in all a clean comfortable hotel with good value for money.

The hotel is ideally located between the centre of Glasgow and the West End, and is easily accessible for both. It is also close to the M8 motorway, so Glasgow International Airport is only 10 - 15 minutes' drive away.

Couldn't close window and therefore couldn't sleep with noise from motorway. ... Few towels and cold room because of window... Great view over the city lights from any floor above 4th. ... Only problem is car parking but the hotel offset some of the car park costs... The food menu in the hotel room was not updated... has all the facilities one needs for a stay... facilites were good and the staff were very helpful.... Car parking is at the multistorey next door- rather expensive at just under ?20 per day....

General Hotel Information

The Premier Charing Cross Hotel is housed in a 12-storey concrete tower, which dates from the 1970s and therefore isn’t terribly prepossessing from the outside, though it does offer excellent views over the city. It contains 278 medium sized guestrooms, which are pleasantly decorated in an understated style characteristic of this chain with a work desk as standard. They are maintained in decent condition, as are the en suite bathrooms. Some rooms have airconditioning and the work to make all rooms airconditioned is ongoing. The hotel has a policy for lone female travellers to help ensure that they feel safe at all times.
Bar Est is the perfect venue for a drink or a relaxing evening meal, offering a wide selection of quality dishes with a traditional English and Continental flavour in a light, bright, contemporary atmosphere.

we enjoyed our stay but the large groups coming in meant that there was a crush for breakfast and croisants often gone and there were no roll. You didn't offer continental breakfast , so I paid for 2 full breakfast when we had one of each. The last day I had tea, yogurt and slice of bread!
