Description:
Principe Di Savoia Hotel
Located in Milan's business center, the Hotel Principe di Savoia is renowned as the focal point of the Piazza della Repubblica. It is housed in an elegant and classical building that dates from 1927. The lobby area is spacious, plushly decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The 404 guest rooms and suites are shared over 11 floors. They are all quite spacious and each one is furnished in an elegant, nineteenth century, Lombard style with silk wall panels. The rooms have all the facilities guests have come to expect from a hotel of this standard. Located on the top floor of the building, the Presidential Suite is the largest and most exclusive suite in Europe measuring 500sq metres and featuring a private swimming pool, decorated with frescoes. There is also a superb restaurant which overlooks the hotels gardens. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is of a very high standard. The hotel also lavishes discerning palates with a variety of gourmet dining experiences. The Principe's bar - Giardino d'Inverno - is a winter garden that lulls its guests in a sumptuous atmosphere with a baroque flavour: variegated marble, crystal, exquisite fabrics and a coloured glass dome for a ceiling. Meanwhile, the 5-star Ristorante Galleria is the perfect setting for impeccable Italian and regional cuisine and attentive service. The decor of the restaurant has been inspired by frescoes, stucco work and ornaments of the 'Galleria Vittorio Emanuele', the enormous arcade in the centre of Milan, the style of which is at the heart of Milanese tradition. The columns, curtains and interplay of space and vista in the restaurant all create an atmosphere both intimate and discreet. This is one of the best and most refined hotels in Milan, providing an excellent service to all clients.
