The Fairmont is in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco, is only 4 blocks from Union Square and is next to Chinatown. Directly across the road you will find the Grace Cathedral. It is very easy to access the cable cars from the hotel and is a ten-minute downhill walk to Fisherman?s Wharf, although coming back you?d be advised to use the transportation to avoid walking up the steep hill again!
