The hotel is located just within the medieval city walls of Krakow, opposite the open-air art gallery by the Florianska gate. Its next-door neighbour is the Czartoryski Museum, which houses Leonardo's famous "Lady With An Ermine". This is one of the best positioned hotels in Krakow, since from here you can easily access the Market Square in 5 minutes by strolling down Florianska Street with its boutique shopping. In roughly 10 minutes you can walk to the Galleria Krakow (containing almost 300 high street and designer stores) and the train station for easy access to the airport. This is one of the oldest parts of the city and from many of the rooms you will look onto the medieval city walls, so you will feel very much a sense of history in this location.

The hotel's 54 guestrooms are all very comfortable and many are large with very high ceilings. The decoration in the rooms differs slightly, which reflects the change in room size, simply due to the age of the building. All rooms, however, are finished to the highest standard with antique dark wood furniture and parquet flooring. The hotel can accommodate up to 3 adults in one room. All guest rooms have satellite TV, telephone, radio and mini bar. Some rooms have cable Internet access and baths in addition to showers. There is one room adapted to accommodate guests with a wheelchair.

The Polski Pod Bialym Orlem Hotel (translated as 'Under the White Eagle') is housed in three adjacent 18th century townhouses, owned by the Czartoryski family who have run the hotel since it was first established. The hotel itself is decorated very sympathetically and although the amenities are very modern it still retains an atmosphere of history and tradition. The lobby is medium sized with exposed brick walls and white painted arched ceilings, which are evident throughout the property. From the entrance you can access the guestrooms via a grand staircase.
