In an excellent location only a few steps from Trevi Fountain.
The staff in the hotel is friendly and helpful.
The hotel offers a good buffet breakfast.

The hotel is located close to main shopping areas and Trevi Fountain, five minutes from the Spanish Steps and a short walk from prestigious shopping along Piazza di Spagna, Via Condotti and Via Veneto.

Great location... Great location... The hotel is in a great location for all the sites of Rome... Location was fantastic - less than a minute to the Trevi! ... The hotel features 83 comfortable guestrooms, most of which are twin/double with a sofa bed to accommodate a third person. Standard rooms are tastefully decorated in warm tones and have well equipped marble bathrooms with either a shower or a bath. All rooms have Satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, air conditioning, hairdryer, safety deposit box and radio. There are some newly refurbished executive rooms, which are appointed in stylish dark wood and are slightly larger. These rooms have free ADSL internet access. For disabled guests the hotel has 2 adapted rooms

had a quite room... Our room was a bit small ... nice and clean and met our requirements.... it really WAS just round the corner!... We could hear the water from the Trevi Fountain from our room window ... We got a superior room unexpectedly. It was great, spacious and comfortable.... Only thing missing was tea & coffee making facilities in room.... room we were given on arrival was incredibly small... Rooms are incredibly small.... Room fittings and fixtures to a high standard.... Beds extremely comfortable and a great shower.... Black out curtains greta too.... Dissapointed with the scaffolding outside our window.... Shower temp a bit erratic.... Very comfortable bed and nice bed linen.... you could hear the conversation of the American couple in room 451 next to ours so they could obviously hear us....

General Hotel Information

The Accademia Hotel is housed in a 19th century building, renovated to offer its guests a pleasant stay in the heart of the historic centre. Entrance to the hotel is gained through attractive glass doors leading into a warm friendly reception area with green and white marble flooring, comfortable easy chairs and a WIFI connection for laptops. Located to the right of the lobby is the breakfast room where guests can enjoy an American buffet breakfast between 7am-10.30am. "News Cafe" is the trendy little cafe/wine bar, ideal for a tasty lunch or delicious drink whilst catching up on the latest world news. This hotel is a high quality 3* with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is a pleasant hotel with a warm and friendly ambience, located in the very centre of Rome's key attractions.

Great location, reception staff not too friendly.

Top Tip

We used romecabs.com for our transfers from and to the airport and would definately recommend them,great service and better than trying to find a cab when you get there.

The hotel is in a great location for all the sites of Rome, we won't hesitate to return..

Top Tip

We visited a restaurant called 'IL MIRRAGIO' at Via dell'Umilta 46, located between Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.. the food and drink was fantastic and the staff were great..Highly recommended.

Our room was a bit small and unfortunately a twin but overall it was nice and clean and met our requirements. A few pictures on the walls wouldn't have gone a miss to cheer it up as it was a bit 'grey'. The breakfast was very good. Location was fantastic - less than a minute to the Trevi!

Top Tip

Definitely look for restaurants off the beaten track! - you will find fantastic italian food served by the owners who are very proud of their food and service - very reasonably priced as well!

We were relocated to a sister hotel tritone nearby. This hotel is extremely central. Everything, except the vatican is within walking distance. Staff were very helpful.

Top Tip

Traffic was noisy at night and early morning as it is city centre location. No foyer in hotel to relax. The lift was old fashioned. Ideally situated next to trevi fountain.
