The hotel is in a fabulous location between the trevi fountain and the spanish steps. It is also very near the main shopping areas and metro and bus stations. The staff were very courteous and effiecient. We would definately stay here again.

When visiting the Vatican/Sistine Chapel we would recomend that you go approx 12 noon by which time the queue waiting time is less than half the length than if you go for it opening at 10am.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the majority of attractions. It is nicely tucked away down a small side street so you are away from the busy tourist filled streets. We found it to be a great base for exploring.

The Spanish Steps are a few minutes walk away. The Trevi Fountain is also fairly close by. We walked to the majority of places, however for the ones a little further away, ie) Colosseum we hopped on the Metro. It only costs 4 euros for a full-day pass so you can just hop on and off at all the different sites. If planning on going to the Vatican, check if it is open. We went on Sunday whilst the service was taking place, however the museum and gardens were closed, so we missed out on the Sistine Chapel, which we really wanted to see!

When we first checked in the guy at the front desk was a bit short but other than that we found all staff very helpful and polite. Buffet breakfast was very nice and served from 7 till 11 which was good if you had an early start or were having a lie in.

Comfortable and safe.

Flat shoes dont think with high heels you'll manage - we ignored this advise to our detriment.
Al 34 restaurant near spanish steps. Also Tucci in Piazza Navone.
Open top bus - on & off is a good way to get your bearings and see everything.
Casano Romano designer outlet village - hotel will arrange shuttle bus (around 30 min journey)
Vatican queues are shorter after lunchtime.
