Situated in the heart of the Santa Cruz Quarter, the hotel overlooks Plaza Santa Maria La Blanca, and it only 3 minutes' walk from the Cathedral and the Alcazar Palace. The hotel is surrounded by several cafes, tapas bars and restaurants. The San Pablo airport is 8 kilometres away and the cost of a taxi ranges from 17 to 20 Euro. A taxi rank is 30 metres off the hotel.

The guestrooms are medium sized and well-equipped with marble bathrooms, floors and white painted walls. The beds are big and the furniture is classy. The interior rooms overlook the patio and they have small balconies. The exterior rooms overlook the square and they have windows. Some of them have small balcony. There are 35 rooms in total, of which 2 are Junior Suites located on the 4th floor. No family rooms or interconnecting rooms are available in the hotel. Triple rooms are double or twin beds with an extra bed. Cots are available, free of charge upon request and so are smoking and non-smoking rooms.

General Hotel Information

The hotel has taken its name from King Alfonso and its is a restored building of the 18th century . The exterior preserves the traditional style of the Hispanic Architecture but its interior combines successfully tradition, modernity and elegance. As soon as you enter the property your sight is captured by the Sevillian tiles that dominate the reception area. Moving on to the lounge we notice a careful selection of modern furniture and light brown marble floors. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with marble floors and elegant dark brown furniture. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are in excellent cognition and the majority of them have views over the Santa Maria square and the San Jose gardens. The use of a swimming pool is availble at the nearby sister hotel, Fernando III. The property houses a spacious cafeteria of modern minimalist decoration, where guests can enjoy drink or a light meal. In general it is a beautiful property in the heart of the historic centre, ideal for both leisure and business travelers.
