Watch out for noisy air conditioning in the older (front) part of hotel. We were given an alternative room where all was well. This was organized by the staff without fuss.

Within five or six minutes walk are many local shops and restaurants used by residents of the barrio and quite off the tourist track. After 5 days there we felt very much at home, even late at night. (We are no longer young but felt no threat from those who were.) Plenty of buses to the City Centre.

excellent hotel. typically spanish building with courtyard used for flamenco dancers in the evening.lots of staff. reception staff very helpful.room very spacious and comfortable. location in 'working class' area of seville in a labryinth of streets. despite first impressions it was perfectly safe to walk around. would definately go to hotel again.
Top Tip
have very good walking shoes as a 20 minute walk from cathedral. or be prepared to use buses or taxis.

The marble flooring made it rather noisy in the morning when the staff turned up. When you get in about midnight and get woken up about 7am, not good. We were led to believe the the rooms were soundproofed, I think not.

Go to the local tapas bars in Avenue de Hermes, lots of choice and variety

Excellent small hotel, friendly staff but situated a bit too far from city centre for an easy walk. Cannot recommend the restaurant however, food was dreadful with an identical menu every night and very over-priced!
Top Tip
Make sure you take your walking shoes - lots to see.

we had room 401 and it was excellent! The whole hotel was very good from the very helpful front desk staff to the tasty breakfast. It is a little far to walk to the centre of town but that is all! Ask the front desk staff..all you need.
