would have liked a lounge or somewhere other than bedroom to sit.otherwise everything was great. thank you.

we used public transport to go vist all the other islands.
everything runs on time in venice, so you can really rely on it.
cheap restaurants on calle san mark beside hotel.food not bad.if you want to take good photos get up early.
before daytrippers come.

Basic but very clean, with easy access to St Marks Square etc. Breakfast area very cramped and right in the reception area.

Very Close to St Marcs square. An ideal base.
Very friendly staff and a clean functional room.
Top Tip
Shop around do not buy the first thing you see. many shops sell the same items. Further away from the square meand cheaper items and you can barter.

Top Tip
Venice has lots of restaurants,we tried to get away from the centre to experience the local atmosphere more. The Dojes Palace is worth a visit but just walk anywhere and its breathtaking. The coloured houses on Burana are a must.

Beds were shot, but we're young. Loved the painting on the ceiling of our room and the glass chandelier. Excellent water pressure on the top floor, great views, very accessible, wonderful staff. I lost a glass ring down the bathroom sink and they came right up and retrieved it. They lend laptops and have free wi-fi. Better breakfast that was actually free than I've had in other more expensive hotels in that city. We will absolutely stay here again!
Top Tip
If you walk north from this hotel along that little skinny street about one block you will come upon a restaurant with pitchers hanging from the ceiling--this is excellent food, affordable, with friendly service.
Take a waterbus from the airport.
Skip the cemetery; it's all very new.
Go to San Gio (something) the monastery with the tower visible from Saint Mark's square and go up their tower, it's cheaper and the lines are shorter.

A really perfect hotel, excellent value for money,
all staff were very pleasent and friendly.
Top Tip
Ideal for venice just off St. Mark Sq not too far from Water bus, with only one set of steps to tackle between the two.
