General Hotel Information

The Scandinavia Hotel has four floors but no lift. A staircase therefore leads from the small lobby area to the guestrooms. The 32 rooms are decorated in a traditional style, with antique style furniture and tiled floors. They are all en suite and while some rooms have a shower only, all bathrooms are very clean and well presented. The bedrooms themselves are of a decent size and well maintained. Standard facilities include mini bar, TV and phone (there is a safe at reception available to guests free of charge.) There are no disabled facilities in this hotel. The breakfast room, which is situated on the ground floor, is small and basic, though offers a decent Continental buffet for guests. The hotel would suit those looking for a clean simple base to explore Venice, yet with a traditional feel.
