Lovely hotel, ideally situated and friendly staff. What it lacks is a bar or snack area to relax in when returning after a night out. However I think it would be possible to use those facilities in the sister hotel which is situated only a hundred yards away round the corner.
Top Tip
There are restaurants literally round the corner and in great abundance all over Venice. Everything is easily reached on foot.
Must visit the Doges Palace with the Bridge of Sighs, Rialto Bridge and take a gondola ride. The islands of the lagoon are easily reached by water bus.
However if you like shopping you may be dissapointed as the vast majority of goods on sale are masques (almost every other shop)and glassware.

great location, rooma bit small and thin walls but beds are very comfy, decor is nice and perfectly quiet at night. Breakfast was fine.
Top Tip
don't eat in the restaurant attached to the main hotel - Saviola & jolanda - its terrible

Top Tip
Beware all restaurants that are touting for business! They're overpriced (cover charges plus an automatic 12% service charge added on)and we found the food incredibly dear...and mediocre. But that was the only disappointment in what was a great break.

Fantastic location. The rooms were small but nice. We were quite cold though, as they made the beds with just sheets and only 1 pillow each. Breakfast was okay.
Top Tip
Soooooo expensive everywhere! they charge a 12% service charge on top of your bill, plus a cover charge for each person. Look out for places that dont charge a cover charge, as this will reduce your bill. Drinks are ridiculous price..5 euros for a coke. 10 euros for a beer! etc..But most food is reasonably priced.

wonderful location everything was very very good would reccomend this to anyone and had a lovely stay.Very good value for money and well done all of you.Also the staff were very good.
Top Tip
Go to Trattoria Alla Madonna Calle dei Cinque Rialto dial 1954 excellent and very good value for money.Also Bistro Venice behind St Marks wonderful.

This hotel is in an excellent location just around the corner from St Marks square and a 2 minutes walk from the San Zaccaria waterbus stop. The rooms are adequate and maid service is to a good standard.
Top Tip
There are 4 decent restaurants just a 2 minute walk from the hotel so no need to worry about this.

Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast next door no problem and very high quality.
Slight smell of drains downstairs only!
Top Tip
Very well placed near San Marco and restaurants at back were better than we had been led to expect. Hotel itself meal was very good but expensive despite 20% discount. Two bottles of beer = 15euros and no discount!!
